Telematics / Gateway ECU
To briefly introduce ourselves, we are embedded engineers from Crevavi team located in the Heritage city of Mysuru, Karnataka. Crevavi team is always in a zeal to learn about the communication technologies, about the cloud technology and to publish the data to the server and gain the domain knowledge in the communication and cloud platform, so to drive our company strategy in IOT domain. This Project is a Telematics / IOT project, The hardware includes 4G+GPS modem. This device is our custom-built hardware and software platform, with edge computing / gateway capability, GPS receiver and uses 4G cellular technology to connect any asset to the cloud. The Block diagram of the device is illustrated below in the figure.
Data can then be analysed on the cloud, to provide business insights to our customers.
The Cloud is connected to the device via the Secure MQTT channel and publishes data containing GPS coordinates and the status of diagnostics, health of sub-systems / sensor to the cloud which are displayed on a dashboard.
This platform can achieve business outcomes like Predictive maintenance, Predictive quality, and Remote asset management.
In future, The Crevavi design team will to 5G cellular technology with programmable e-SIM to connect any asset to the cloud.
